Khartoum: The acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, has reassured the international community and the diplomatic corps residing in Sudan that the Armed Forces (SAF) are capable of confronting the militia targeting and attacks, which are an extension of a series of violations that have continued to target civilian and service facilities and defenseless civilians.
According to Sudan News Agency, in press statements following a briefing on Sunday by the Commander of the Red Sea Military Zone at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to diplomatic and consular missions and representatives of international and regional organizations accredited to Sudan, the MFA Undersecretary affirmed that members of the diplomatic corps expressed their solidarity with Sudan and its people and their complete rejection of this attack by the rebel militia.
He noted that several countries had issued statements condemning this shameful act. Ambassador Al-Fadil added that the diplomatic corps was briefed on the targeting and attack carried out by the rebel militia and its supporters, using suicide and strategic drones, which targeted a number of civilian and service facilities.
