Khartoum: Japan’s Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, Mr. Shinsuke Shimisu, is set to arrive in Sudan on Tuesday for a three-day visit.
According to Sudan News Agency, the purpose of the visit is to inaugurate the assistance provided by Japan to Sudan’s Ministry of Health. This assistance includes machinery, equipment, and refrigerated vehicles designed for the transportation of medicines.
During his visit, the Japanese envoy is scheduled to meet with various officials from the Transitional Sovereignty Council, as well as representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, and Health. Additionally, discussions are expected with the Humanitarian Aid Commissioner.
