UAE ship “Mira” arrives in Beirut with 2,000 tons of aid for Lebanon

The UAE ship ‘Mira’ arrived at Beirut Port on Friday, delivering 2,000 tons of food supplies and technical equipment for shelter centers as part of the UAE’s ‘Together for Lebanon’ initiative.

Caretaker Health Minister, Dr. Firas Abiad, expressed Lebanon’s gratitude, noting this marks the first in a series of relief shipments supporting displaced families.

Minister Abiad emphasized Lebanon’s desire for a diplomatic resolution to ongoing hostilities, highlighting the UAE’s steadfast support for Lebanon’s stability.

Additionally, Abiad reaffirmed the commitment to transparency in aid distribution, coordinated with the UAE and other supporting countries.
