UAE Accused of Orchestrating Suicide Drone Attack on Portsudan Airport

Al-Aiser: The Minister of Culture and Information and government spokesman Khalid Al-Aiser has launched a fierce attack on the United Arab Emirates (UAE), accusing it of being behind the attack on Portsudan Airport.

According to Sudan News Agency, Khalid stated that the city of Portsudan was attacked on Sunday morning by seven suicide drones, which provided cover for an attack carried out by another strategic drone on Osman Digna Air Base.

The attack, as revealed by Khalid, caused material damage but fortunately resulted in no casualties. The Minister of Information confirmed that the air defense forces were able to successfully intercept and neutralize all of the suicide drones. However, the strategic drone did manage to strike one of the gables inside the airbase.

Khalid emphasized that this attack confirms beyond a shadow of a doubt that the ongoing conflict is not merely a rebellion by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, but rather a full-fledged aggression directed and supported by the UAE. He ac
cused the UAE of providing advanced drones to the militia, which are operated from control chambers in Abu Dhabi.

Khalid further warned that the UAE’s actions pose a significant threat to Sudanese national security and constitute a grave jeopardy to regional and international security, necessitating urgent and serious action to address such violations.
