TSC Vice-President Unveils Al-Karama Campus, Emphasizes Shift from Tax to Care State.

Merowe: The Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Aggar, officially inaugurated the Al-Karama campus in the Northern State on Tuesday. During the event, Commander Aggar highlighted the government’s commitment to transforming the state from one focused on taxation to one centered on care, and from a state of bias to one of citizenship without discrimination.

According to Sudan News Agency, Vice President Aggar took the opportunity to congratulate the Northern State government and the National Fund for Student Support for their achievement. He emphasized the importance of nurturing students as they represent the hope and future of Sudan. Aggar called for fostering patriotism, noting the multicultural and diverse nature of Sudan, which necessitates solidarity and cooperation among its various communities to propel the nation into the ranks of advanced countries.

Aggar further remarked that the opening of the Al-Karama campus in Merowe Locality comes at a critical time in
Sudan’s history. He commended the National Fund for Student Support’s administration, viewing the campus not merely as a construction project but as a testament to the government’s dedication to supporting students and youth across all regions of Sudan. He underscored that students are the foundation of the nation’s future and the embodiment of its aspirations.
