TSC Vice-President Meets Prime Minister to Discuss National Progress

Khartoum: Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Agar, met on Tuesday with Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris and commended him for accepting the duties of Prime Minister at this critical time for the country. Agar affirmed that the Prime Minister would receive all the support and constructive cooperation from TSC members to enable him to perform his duties optimally.

According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting addressed issues of civil service and the management of the state, as well as the importance of coordinating efforts to increase the effectiveness of the executive organ. The discussions included the development of policies to manage resources, revive the national economy, and activate mechanisms to combat corruption. The meeting underscored the important role of women and youth in building the Sudan of the future.

The meeting also focused on Sudan’s foreign relations, emphasizing the need to build sound relations that consider Sudan’s interests and preserve its regional and international balance. Additionally, discussions were held on preserving the Juba Peace Agreement.
