Juba: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in Juba, capital of the Republic of South Sudan, on Wednesday, for an official visit. He was greeted at Juba International Airport by President Salva Kiir Mayardit and members of the Sudanese diplomatic mission to South Sudan. An official reception ceremony was held in his honor.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Burhan’s visit aims to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between Sudan and South Sudan. The discussions will focus on advancing cooperation to meet the aspirations of the citizens of both nations. General Al-Burhan is accompanied by a delegation that includes Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Muhi-Eddin Naeem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and Director General of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
