TSC President Receives Invitation from Kuwaiti Emir to Visit Kuwait.
Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has received an invitation from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah, to visit Kuwait. The visit aims to advance and enhance prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries across all domains.
According to Sudan News Agency, during a meeting on Thursday with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sudan, Dr. Fahad Al-Dhafiri, Al-Burhan expressed Sudan’s appreciation for Kuwait’s supportive stances towards Sudan in international and regional forums. He noted Kuwait’s humanitarian role in supporting the Sudanese people and providing them with aid and assistance during their ongoing crisis.
In a press statement, Dr. Al-Dhafiri affirmed the Emir of Kuwait’s welcome of the proposed visit, emphasizing that it would support the path of joint cooperation between the two nations towards broader horizons.
