Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has ratified the results of the postponed Sudanese Certificate exams for the year 2023. During a meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Omar, and in the presence of TSC Vice-President Commander Malik Agar, Al-Burhan commended the Ministry of Education and state institutions for their efforts in conducting the exams despite national challenges. He expressed appreciation for the dedication of teachers and emphasized the significance of the exam results as a testament to the resilience of Sudan’s educational process.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education provided details on the certificate results following a meeting of the Sudan Examinations Council. These results were evaluated against public examination standards by experts, professors, and the Council. The Undersecretary congratulated students and their families, noting the results as an achievement amidst ongoing national challenges.
The Undersecretary also highlighted attempts by rebel groups to hinder Sudan’s educational progress, stressing that the resolve of the Sudanese people and leadership thwarted these efforts. Dr. Ahmed Khalifa expressed gratitude to the state leadership and affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to conducting the Sudanese Certificate exams for the 2024 batch.
