Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, was briefed on the overall security and police situation in the country and the efforts made by the police forces to combat crime and negative phenomena.
According to Sudan News Agency, this meeting took place with the Director-General of the Police Forces, General of Police Khalid Hassan Mohieddin. In a press statement, General Mohieddin explained that discussions focused on the role of the police during the next phase and the importance of relocating its various units to start their duties from Khartoum State.
The Director-General of the Police Forces revealed a plan aimed at securing cities amidst current circumstances and enhancing the police’s role in maintaining security. General Al-Burhan affirmed the ongoing efforts of the police forces to provide all necessary services and transactions to the public.
