Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Monday with the Director General of the Police Forces, General (Police) Amir Abdel-Moniem Fadl.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Director General of Police Forces announced in a press statement that the meeting focused on discussing the overall security situation in the country. The discussions emphasized the efforts made to achieve security and stability. General Fadl briefed the TSC President on the security measures and arrangements intended to maintain and extend security, uphold the rule of law, and impose the state’s prestige in Khartoum State, especially following the relocation of the Ministry of Interior and Police Forces to resume their duties in the state.
The Director General of Police Forces reiterated a commitment to imposing the state’s prestige, strengthening security, and creating a conducive environment for citizens to return to their normal lives.
