Khartoum: The Minister of Industry and Trade, Mahasin Ali Yagoub, emphasized the necessity of firm coordination between her ministry and the Ministry of Justice to accomplish tasks as required, appreciating the significant role played by the Ministry of Justice in issuing legislation and laws that regulate work relations between the public and private sectors. This came during her meeting at her office in Port Sudan with Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Dirif.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Minister of Industry and Trade stated that the industrial and commercial sectors are the fundamental pillars for creating job opportunities and supporting economic growth. She explained that the Ministry of Industry and Trade is preparing plans to support and encourage economic growth and create an enabling environment for investment through legislation that contributes to protecting the rights of all parties.
For his part, the Minister of Justice indicated his ministry’s readiness to issue supportive legislation or make legal amendments that bolster investment and the national economy. He pointed out that laws must keep pace with economic and social developments to meet the needs of investors and enhance the work environment. His Excellency also affirmed the Ministry of Justice’s readiness to study any proposals submitted towards building an integrated judicial system.
