Higher Education Ministry Introduces 78 Admission Centers for 2026-2027

Khartoum:The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the establishment of 78 guidance and e-application centers to assist with admissions for the 2026-2027 academic year. These centers are strategically located across 11 states and regions to provide support for students and parents in navigating the online admission process.According to Sudan News Agency, the centers will offer services such as guidance on applications, fee payments, selection of preferences, and inquiries about admission regulations. The aim is to facilitate a smoother and more organized electronic admission procedure.Khartoum hosts the majority of these centers, with 43 locations. Al-Gezira follows with 11 centers, while the Red Sea region has 4. The River Nile, Northern, White Nile, and North Kordofan states each have three centers. Sennar, Al-Gadharef, Kassala, and the Blue Nile Region are equipped with two centers each.The ministry has encouraged students and parents to utilize these accredited centers, ensuring information accuracy before applying and adhering to admission requirements and deadlines. This initiative seeks to enhance direct support for applicants and streamline the electronic admission process.
