TSC President Directs Experts to Address Economic Challenges Amid Ongoing Crisis.

Port-Sudan: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has issued directives for economic experts to find solutions that alleviate the burdens faced by citizens. These citizens have been enduring hardships due to siege, killing, and displacement amid ongoing militia activities. He noted the existence of significant challenges but emphasized the importance of overcoming them and seizing opportunities.

According to Sudan News Agency, these remarks were made during the opening session of the first economic conference, themed “Together to Accomplish Sustainable Economic Recovery,” in Portsudan. General Al-Burhan expressed hope that the conference would produce implementable recommendations aimed at easing the hardships of the populace.

The TSC President also acknowledged the support extended by Sudan’s allies, including friendly and sisterly nations, as well as international organizations. He remarked on the distinction made by the Sudanese people between allies and
adversaries, suggesting that these relationships would shape future foreign policies. General Al-Burhan emphasized that those who remain neutral or indecisive would receive similar treatment, declaring that there would be no leniency towards those perceived as cowards.
