TSC President Declares Unyielding Battle Against Al-Dagalo Militia

Khartoum: The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has declared an ongoing and determined battle against the Al-Dagalo terrorist militia. Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the 21st Security and Intelligence Qualification Session, held under the theme “Security Men… The Watchful Eyes of the Nation,” Al-Burhan emphasized that the conflict will persist until the militia is completely eradicated.

According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan commended the pivotal role played by the General Intelligence Service in maintaining Sudan’s unity, stability, and security. He acknowledged their efforts in confronting security threats and supporting the armed forces in their campaign, referred to as the Battle of Dignity and Pride, against the rebellious militia. He highlighted that the Armed Forces and the General Intelligence Service serve as the nation’s safety valve, working with impartiality and patriotism to safeguard Sudan’s unity.

Al-Burhan expressed gratitude to the joint and supporting forces fighting alongside the Armed Forces in defense of Sudan. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing the transitional roadmap and addressing the challenges of the period. Emphasizing the unity of security and military establishments, he stated that their collaborative efforts aim to overcome the rebellion and address the injustices faced by the Sudanese people due to the militia’s actions.

He also noted the sacrifices made by the Intelligence Service, which has contributed significantly to national defense, and described the graduation of the latest batch as a valuable addition to Sudan’s security framework. Al-Burhan urged the nation to focus on building a strong, post-war Sudan and warned against divisive influences and slogans. He concluded by emphasizing the importance of unity and the need to steer clear of tribalism, regionalism, and partisan agendas to ensure a resilient and united Sudan.
