Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a congratulatory cable to His Excellency President Isaias Afwerki, President of Eritrea, on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.
According to Sudan News Agency, in his cable, Al-Burhan expressed his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes for progress and prosperity for the Eritrean people, along with good health and happiness for President Afwerki. The TSC President highlighted the strong fraternal ties between Sudan and Eritrea, underscoring the depth of their distinguished bilateral relations.
Al-Burhan stressed the Sudanese government’s determination to develop and strengthen these ties to achieve joint interests and bilateral cooperation in various fields. He emphasized the importance of this cooperation in confronting current challenges and threats.
