Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed the depth of Sudan-Qatar relations, highlighting the historical ties between the two brotherly peoples. This statement was made during his farewell to Sudan’s Ambassador to Qatar, Badr-Eddin Abdullah Muhammad, in the presence of Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Ahmed Yousif.
According to Sudan News Agency, Ambassador Badr-Eddin Abdullah informed the press that the TSC President emphasized Sudan’s keenness to develop and enhance its relations with Qatar. The meeting also highlighted the importance of expanding bilateral ties between Khartoum and Doha, indicating the political will of the leaderships of both countries to advance areas of joint cooperation.
The ambassador added that he received guidance and advice from the TSC President aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. He also mentioned the focus on addressing the concerns of the Sudanese community residing in Qatar.
