Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar Al-Mubarak reviewed the overall situation in Al-Gadarif State in the security, economic, social, and development sectors.
According to Sudan News Agency, during a joint meeting with the Al-Gadarif State government and security committee, Dr. Al-Mubarak was briefed by the Acting Governor of the State, Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan. The briefing focused on efforts to ensure the success of the current agricultural season, the progress of development projects, and the provision of basic services. It also highlighted the recent surge in economic activity, driven by the entry of numerous new companies and factories eager to leverage the state’s agricultural products and investment incentives.
Dr. Al-Mubarak praised the Al-Gadarif State government for its development and service initiatives and efforts to ensure food security. She emphasized the federal government’s support for these projects and its dedication to enhancing the state’s capacity to maximize agricultural production and increase the value of its crops.
