Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Salah-Eddin Adam Tor has arrived in the River Nile State. During his meeting on Thursday in Al-Damer with the Wali of River Nile State, Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdul-Majid Abu Gurun, he praised the significant and growing role played by the state in hosting people displaced (IDPs) by the war from states that have fallen under the control of the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. He also highlighted the support and solidarity convoys dispatched by the state to the Armed Forces, their supporting units, and areas affected by the rebellion-most recently the major state convoy that reached Al-Dabbah in Northern State, delivering assistance to those arriving from El-Fashir. The River Nile State was the first in the country to reach these citizens who have suffered the hardships of the insurgency.
According to Sudan News Agency, Wali Dr. Mohammed Al-Badawi Abdul-Majid Abu Gurun welcomed the visit of the TSC Member to the state and provided a detailed briefing on its performance during the past period. The Wali stated that the River Nile State represents a miniature Sudan, receiving people from across the country, particularly in the mining markets.
