Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams-Eddin Kabbashi, met on Tuesday with Prime Minister Dr. Kamil El-Tayib Idris. During the meeting, Kabbashi extended his congratulations to the Prime Minister, expressing his wishes for Idris’s success in fulfilling his duties and realizing the aspirations of the Sudanese people for progress and prosperity. The discussions focused on laying the foundations for security, stability, peace, and development in Sudan.
According to Sudan News Agency, Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris affirmed his commitment to achieving security, stability, and peace in Sudan. He emphasized his dedication to steering the country toward broader horizons and ending the suffering of its citizens. Idris stated, “We will work to serve the citizens and fulfill their aspirations for pride, dignity, and the desired development.” He also praised the achievements of the armed forces and their supporting forces in defeating the rebel terrorist militia.
The meeting addressed the overall situation and challenges confronting the country, with particular attention to efforts aimed at sustaining peace and security.
