TSC Member Kabashi Reviews Security Situation in North Kordofan State.

PORT SUDAN: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams-Eddin Kabashi, has reviewed the security and political situation in North Kordofan State. This review also encompassed efforts to meet the essential needs of the citizens in the region.

According to Sudan News Agency, during a meeting held in his office in Portsudan with the Wali (governor) of North Kordofan State, Abdel-Khalig Abdel-Latif, General Kabashi received updates on the progress of military operations. The discussions focused on securing roads within the North Kordofan hub and the Martyr Al-Sayyad Advancing Force on the Kosti-Al-Obied Road.

General Kabashi was briefed on the efforts undertaken by the North Kordofan State government in providing services to citizens affected by the war and the newcomers. The state’s preparedness and plans for the post-war period, particularly in terms of development and investment projects, were also discussed.

Governor Abdel-Khalig Abd
el-Latif explained in a press statement that he informed the TSC Member about the implementation of the state’s plan for 2024 and the proposed plan for 2025. These plans include various projects and activities aimed at benefiting the citizens of the state. The TSC Member emphasized the importance of coordination and collaboration with government institutions and relevant bodies to overcome challenges and implement the state’s future activities and programs.
