TSC Member Dr. Salma Abdul Jabbar Commends Saudi Arabia’s Support for Sudan

Port Sudan: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Salma Abdul Jabbar Al-Mubarak, has praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s supportive stances for Sudan and its people, including the provision of humanitarian aid and essential supplies, as well as its firm position on issues related to Sudan’s peace and security.

According to Sudan News Agency, during a meeting at her office in Port Sudan with the Saudi Ambassador to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jaafar, Dr. Salma extended her greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohamed bin Salman. She emphasized the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of working to strengthen them and advance them to wider horizons.

For his part, the Saudi Ambassador congratulated the TSC member on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and the confidence she received in being appointed a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council. He explained that the meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
