Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar Al-Mubarak, met with Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris on Wednesday. Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar congratulated the Prime Minister and expressed her wishes for his success in fulfilling his duties in the forthcoming period. She reiterated her dedication to offering support to address Sudan’s internal and external challenges, aiming to achieve peace, security, and stability.
According to Sudan News Agency, the discussions during the meeting focused on the challenges associated with the transitional period, the impact of the war, and the essential tasks of reconstruction and rebuilding. The meeting also highlighted the issues concerning the central region, which serves as a crucial link connecting various parts of Sudan, essential for the country’s renaissance and development.
The meeting emphasized the need to establish a strong foundation for the transitional period and to create a comprehensive roadmap for building a new Sudan characterized by security, stability, and development.
