Bandar Seri Begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, has received the credentials of Hassan Abdulsalam as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom of Brunei Darussalam, with residence in Kuala Lumpur. During the official ceremony, the Sultan welcomed the Ambassador and exchanged pleasantries.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Ambassador extended greetings from His Excellency General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, to His Majesty. The message conveyed wishes for good health and well-being for the Sultan, as well as continued progress and prosperity for Brunei Darussalam and its people.
In response, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his own greetings to President Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan. He wished for growth and stability for Sudan and its people and expressed hope that Ambassador Abdulsalam would succeed in his new role, strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations and fulfilling the aspirations of their peoples.
