Khartoum: At least 300 people were killed in attacks by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the city of Al-Nuhood in West Kordofan State, southwestern Sudan, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.
According to Nam News Network, a ministry statement revealed that the attacks took place over the past two days. The statement accused the RSF of committing crimes against humanity, alleging that the killings were carried out on an ethnic basis.
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry further reiterated its plea to the United Nations Security Council and other international actors, urging them to end what it described as leniency toward the RSF’s actions. The call aims to prompt swift international intervention to address the escalating crisis in the region.
