El-Fashir: Six worshippers were killed and others injured when the Al-Dagalo terrorist militia shelled Sheikh Ahmed Hanafi Mosque in the Al-Daragah neighborhood of El-Fashir, the capital of North Darfur State, while worshippers were performing Friday prayers.
According to Sudan News Agency, an eyewitness reported that the terrorist militia targeted the mosque and its surroundings with five howitzer cannons. The attack resulted in the immediate death of four worshippers and left others with varying degrees of injuries, who were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.
Two of the injured worshippers later succumbed to their wounds. The witness stated that the worshippers raised their hands in supplication to Allah Almighty, praying for the destruction of the terrorist militia, which has been carrying out such violations against citizens, particularly during prayer times.
