Omdurman: Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences, Professor Mohi-Eddin Abdullah Hassan, received a delegation from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) at the university headquarters. The delegation was led by Director Mr. Galip Yilmaz and Projects Director in Sudan, Mr. Mohamed Othman.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting included key university officials such as Dr. Ayoub Abdullah Ali, Engineer Kamil Musaed Al-Mahi, Dr. Mohamed Yousuf Ibrahim, and Khalafallah Al-Imam. Professor Mohi-Eddin Abdullah Hassan highlighted the strong educational and cultural connections between the university and Turkish institutions, acknowledging TIKA's role in supporting academic establishments.
Mr. Galip Yilmaz expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and stated the agency's intention to strengthen partnership with the university to meet shared educational goals. The delegation toured the Media Production and Training Center, inspecting studios of 'Sawt Al-Mathani Radio,' and visited various university facilities, including lecture halls and scientific laboratories at Female Students Centers (A) and (B).
The visit originated from the Vice-Chancellor's prior visit to TIKA's headquarters in Port Sudan, which laid the groundwork for collaborative reconstruction and infrastructure development projects at the university.
