TSC Vice President Engages with MSF Belgium’s Sudan Program Director

Khartoum: Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Malik Agar met with Ms. Cindrella Lamark, Sudan Program Director for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Belgium, who is currently visiting the country. According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting focused on current humanitarian priorities and explored potential support for medical and humanitarian activities in response to emerging needs across Sudan. Agar expressed the government's appreciation for the services provided to vulnerable populations and confirmed its readiness to cooperate with the organization. He praised MSF's non-political approach, noting that it strengthens the organization's presence in Sudan. Ms. Lamark announced that MSF Belgium's operations will be relocated to the organization's headquarters in Khartoum next March. The visit aims to engage with MSF teams working in Sudan, enhance coordination with the Sudanese government at both federal and state levels, and assess progress in humanitarian and medical interventions ac ross the country.
