Doha: The State of Qatar has condemned the targeting of vital facilities and infrastructure in the cities of Kassala and Port Sudan in the Republic of Sudan, viewing it as a violation of international laws and norms and a serious threat to regional security.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement on Sunday, the State of Qatar’s categorical rejection of the targeting of civilian facilities and vital infrastructure. The Ministry reiterated Qatar’s full support for the unity, sovereignty, and stability of Sudan, and its support for the brotherly Sudanese people in achieving their aspirations for development and prosperity.
