Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has directed the formation of a Foreign Relations Council. This council will include ambassadors, experts, specialized academics, and representatives from relevant authorities. Its purpose is to assist in decision-making and to develop a strategic vision for foreign relations. Additionally, the council aims to utilize ambassadors and diplomatic personnel who have been forced by war conditions to reside abroad by engaging them through secure electronic platforms and programs. These individuals will also be enrolled in special training programs.
According to Sudan News Agency, this directive was issued during Dr. Idris’s meeting with Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Idris Ismail, the Director General of European and American Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Al-Fadil provided an overview of the current situation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He emphasized the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance Sudan’s relationships with countries across the globe.
