Prime Minister Idris Calls for National Unity and Social Cohesion

Port Sudan: The Interim Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, has emphasized the critical need for social cohesion and unity as the nation progresses into its next phase. He called for cooperative efforts from all national and popular sectors to achieve these objectives. This message was conveyed during a meeting with a civil delegation led by Dr. Sheikh Khalid Al-Sheikh Berair, the General Coordinator of Sufi Sects in Sudan, who visited the Prime Minister’s office in Port Sudan as part of Eid Al-Adha greetings.

According to Sudan News Agency, Sheikh Khalid, the head of the delegation, stated in press statements that the delegation informed the Prime Minister about the Coordination Committee’s role in the War of Dignity. The committee has recently launched several programs aimed at combating hate speech and promoting values of tolerance and community unity.
