Khartoum: The Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, inspected the National Medical Supplies Fund, affirming the availability of essential medicines for citizens. During his visit, Dr. Idris commended the Ministry of Health and the staff of the National Medical Supplies Fund for their crucial role in restoring the Fund's operations to supply medicines to the public. According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister's visit included his Advisor, Nizar Abdullah Mohammed, the Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohammed, and the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Ali Mohammed Ali. The Prime Minister took the opportunity to encourage citizens abroad and those in other states to return voluntarily to the national capital, Khartoum. Dr. Idris assured the public of the adequate supply of medicines, particularly life-saving drugs and malaria treatments, which are provided free of charge in government hospitals. He highlighted the continued availability of other essential services in government facilities and ser vice centers. During the visit, Dr. Kamil Idris and his delegation toured the various departments of the Fund. They assessed the damage the Fund had suffered and observed the reconstruction efforts undertaken, which have significantly restored the Fund's operational capacity.
