Prime Minister: Egypt to Support Sudan’s Return to African Union Fold in the Near Future

Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris affirmed during a press conference held today at Khartoum Airport, following his return from an official visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, that the two countries agreed to coordinate their positions on regional and international issues.According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Idris revealed that Egypt, by virtue of its chairmanship of the African Union Peace and Security Council, will support Sudan and coordinate with it regarding its return to the fold of the African Union in the near future.
