Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Turkish company Summa, Mr. Enver Sayan, at Istanbul Airport during a layover en route to Sudan. The meeting was also attended by several officials, including the Advisor to the Prime Minister Nizar Abdullah, Ambassador Bad-Eddin Al-Jaafari, Sudan’s Ambassador to Turkey Nadir Youssef, and Consul General in Istanbul Osama Mahjoub. Representing Summa Company were the Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Business Development.
According to Sudan News Agency, the focus of the meeting was on the potential development of a new airport in Khartoum, designed to meet the latest international standards. Summa, known for its global expertise in airport construction, expressed interest in the project and committed to dispatching a technical team to Sudan. This team will collect essential data for a comprehensive feasibility study, marking a significant step forward in the collaboration between Sudan and Summa.
