Port Sudan: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in Cairo on Monday. The visit follows an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi.
According to Sudan News Agency, President Al-Burhan was welcomed at Cairo International Airport by President Al-Sisi and members of the Sudanese mission in Cairo. An official reception ceremony was held at Al-Ittihadiya Palace for the visiting president.
The two leaders are scheduled to hold joint bilateral talks focusing on strengthening the relations between Sudan and Egypt, as well as discussing issues of mutual interest. General Al-Burhan’s delegation includes key figures such as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, the Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, and the Director of the Army’s Intelligence Service, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Ali Sabir.
