Al Nahud: The popular resistance movement in Al Nahud locality, West Kordofan State, has pledged unwavering support to the city’s defense efforts. Today, they provided “Qadh Al-Zinat” to fortify the advanced defense lines outside the city, marking a significant step in their ongoing commitment to protect Al Nahud.
According to Sudan News Agency, Professor Suleiman Fadl Al-Sayed, the head of the local popular resistance, stated that this initiative is part of the continuous support given by the resistance to the armed forces and their supporting formations in what is being termed the Battle of Dignity. He highlighted that the entire community of Nahud played a role in preparing the “Golden Cup,” a gesture to honor the armed forces’ soldiers for their valiant efforts in safeguarding the nation.
Professor Al-Sayed further elaborated that the youth involved in the Popular Resistance are committed to defending the city and uncovering sleeper cells that threaten its security and stability. He assured citizens and merchants of An-Nuhud’s safety, attributing it to the resolve of its men and regular forces. He declared that the trench encircling the city would serve as a deterrent, warning that it would be a “graveyard for anyone who dares to approach it.”
Additionally, Fath Al-Alim Ibrahim Muhammad Ali, head of the Popular Resistance in Nahud’s southern region, expressed solidarity with the armed forces, emphasizing their united front at all forward positions. He described this unity as an impregnable barrier against any aggression targeting the city.
