North kordofan: A coordination meeting was held between the Ministry of Finance of North Kordofan State and the Humanitarian Aid Commission. Professor Al-Hadi Nasser, Director General of the Ministry of Finance in North Kordofan State, chaired the meeting in his office. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Ismail, Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid in the state, and the Director of the Development Planning Department. The primary aim was to enhance coordination between the Commission and the Ministry to highlight efforts and their impact on the state’s budget.
According to Sudan News Agency, Professor Al-Hadi Nasser commended the significant role played by the Humanitarian Aid Commission in supporting the community. He emphasized that development planning contributes to achieving sustainable economic growth through established plans and noted that financial interventions are among the key accomplishments at this stage, serving the state’s interests.
Dr. Mohamed Ismail provided an overview of the organizations’ activities and stressed the importance of preparing reports to clarify the extent of assistance provided by organizations and foreign aid to the Ministry of Finance, considering its role in managing public funds. He highlighted the strong partnership between the Ministry of Finance and the Commission, mentioning emergency projects and the necessity to reflect them in the Ministry of Finance budget.
