Khartoum: As part of its sustained efforts toward financial and economic reform, and in continuation of preparations for the five-year plan, the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday organized an orientation workshop at its headquarters in Khartoum on strategic planning. The session was addressed by strategic planning expert Professor Mohamed Suleiman Abu Salih.
According to Sudan News Agency, Professor Abu Salih delivered a comprehensive briefing on strategic planning in the financial and economic domains, underscoring the importance of integration and coherence among the objectives of institutions and units-each within its specialization-to implement program-based planning and achieve the state's unified goals.
Meanwhile, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Maki Abdelrahim, reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to advancing financial reform by strengthening strategic planning. He highlighted the importance of adopting program-based economic planning to attain predefined outcomes, in a manner that supports and enhances the capacities of the national economy.
