Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has announced a tender for the procurement of between 100,000 and 120,000 tons of wheat. This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure adequate supplies and stabilize the local wheat market.
According to Jordan News Agency, interested parties are encouraged to visit the Ministry’s Tender Department to access the complete tender documents. These documents, which include essential terms and specifications, are available for a non-refundable fee of JD650. The deadline for submission is set for 2:00 PM next Tuesday.
To be considered, bidders are required to provide a valid professional license, a certified commercial registration that has been issued within 30 days prior to the bid opening, and evidence of valid Chamber of Commerce registration. This tender process is a critical step in maintaining the supply chain and meeting the country’s wheat demands efficiently.
