Port Sudan: Minister of Defense, Lt. Gen. Yassin Ibrahim Yassin, announced the liberation of Om Al-Qura area in eastern Al-Gezira State on Monday morning, along with the retake of the Sennar Sugar Factory and its surroundings by the armed forces.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Minister of Defense disclosed during a special briefing from the Ministry of Defense in Portsudan that significant progress has been achieved by the Sayyad Advancing Forces in North Kordofan State, particularly in the vicinity of the Om Rawaba area. This development marks a crucial step in the ongoing military operations in the region.
The briefing, held under the titles “Escalation and Direct Aggression by the Countries Sponsoring the Rebel Terrorist Militia” and “Evidence of the Use of Suicide and Strategic Drones,” aimed to inform the public about the latest developments related to foreign involvement in the Sudanese conflict.
