Al-dabba: Minister of Cabinet Affairs Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar, accompanied by Minister of Finance Dr. Gebreil Ibrahim and Minister of Federal Governance and Rural Development Mohamed Kortekaila, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Government of Northern State, chaired by the Wali (Governor) Lt. Gen. Abdelrahman Abdel-Hamid and the State Security Committee, to review the overall security and living conditions in the state.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar stated in a press briefing that the visit is part of the High Committee for Mobilization’s efforts to monitor the situation in El-Fashir. This initiative follows the directives of Prime Minister Dr. Kamal Idris to assess the conditions of displaced persons arriving from El-Fashir to the city of Al-Dabba in Northern State and to provide the necessary support to meet their urgent needs. She commended the official and public efforts in the state to address the challenges faced by those arriving from the Darfur and Kordofan states after s
evere violations and assaults committed against them by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
The Minister of Cabinet Affairs emphasized the importance of documenting the violations committed by the militia against the residents of El-Fashir, affirming that justice will reach everyone who has committed crimes against the Sudanese people.
Northern State Wali Lt. Gen. Abdelrahman Abdel-Hamid welcomed the visit, stating that it reflects the leadership’s keen interest in the situation in Northern State and acknowledges the state’s efforts to host those arriving from Darfur and Kordofan due to the atrocities committed by the RSF militia.
The Wali explained that the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and her accompanying delegation were briefed on the services provided to the displaced persons and the challenges facing the state in regularizing their conditions effectively.

nsure its success and contribute to enhancing national food security.
