Sennar: The Executive Director of Al-Dinder Locality has officially launched a livestock input support project aimed at assisting 200 vulnerable households across four villages in the rural areas of Al-Dinder. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Nada Development Organization.
According to Sudan News Agency, officials have stated that the project is designed to enhance livelihoods and bolster food security, with a particular focus on families that have been impacted by looting incidents carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
Representatives from the FAO and the NGO highlighted the significance of the project in building resilience within these communities. They emphasized the shift from emergency relief to sustainable development as a crucial step forward in supporting these vulnerable populations.
