Khartoum: Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris met on Monday in Khartoum with a delegation of the Central Track, headed by Dr. Omar Othman. The meeting addressed key service and development projects in Al-Gezira, White Nile, and Sennar states.According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister directed the Ministries of Education and Patriotic Upbringing, Trade and Industry, Agriculture and Irrigation, and Health to hold urgent consultations with their counterparts in the three states to rehabilitate infrastructure. This includes schools and educational services, industrial facilities, agricultural projects, hospitals and health services, as well as overall infrastructure across the three states.He also instructed the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism to coordinate with Sennar State to rehabilitate the environment and strengthen vital facilities in support of the Sennar Capital of Culture project.For his part, Dr. Omar Othman stated that the meeting discussed a range of issues related to the h ealth, education, and agricultural sectors in Al-Gezira, White Nile, and Sennar. He added that the Prime Minister pledged to establish a Development and Reconstruction Fund for the Central Region to serve as a mechanism for delivering services to the three states.Dr. Othman affirmed the Central Track's commitment to following up on the implementation of the Prime Minister's directives at all levels.
