Khartoum: Authorities have announced that any entity operating within the state without registering with the relevant authority will face strict action. Khartoum State has urged all entities to register with the Voluntary and Humanitarian Action Commission and to submit their projects and proposals for the locations and communities they serve.
According to Sudan News Agency, the state issued a statement on Sunday highlighting that some entities with unknown names are carrying out activities and initiatives without proper coordination with the relevant authorities. This situation is a clear violation of the laws regulating voluntary work, which mandates registration with the Voluntary and Humanitarian Action Commission.
The statement also pointed to the exceptional circumstances the country is currently experiencing. Authorities stressed that activities by entities not adhering to the legal procedures governing voluntary humanitarian action, particularly those aiming to make money in the name of citizens, will not be tolerated.
The statement concluded with a warning that any violations of these regulations will be met with decisive restrictions.
