Khartoum: In an unprecedented and reprehensible act, Khalifa Haftar’s forces have been accused of blatant aggression against Sudan. The Armed Forces have reported a direct intervention by Haftar’s Libyan forces, known as the Salafist Brigade, in collaboration with the terrorist Daglo militia. The attack targeted border points in the strategic area where Sudan, Egypt, and Libya converge, with the alleged aim of seizing control of the territory.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Armed Forces have condemned the actions of Haftar’s forces as a flagrant violation of international law, characterizing it as an extension of an international and regional conspiracy against Sudan. This intervention, they claim, is occurring under the observation of global and regional organizations, yet without their intervention.
The Sudanese Armed Forces have vowed a strong response to defend the country and its sovereignty, regardless of the support the aggressors receive from the United Arab Emirates and its allied militias. The Armed Forces have expressed their commitment to prevail against these conspiracies and aggressions, emphasizing their dedication to the defense of their nation and people.
