Justice Minister Takes Part in Signing of International Mediation Agreement for Dispute Resolution in China

Khartoum: Minister of Justice Dr. Moawia Osman Mohamed Khair and his accompanying delegation have participated in the signing of the International Mediation Agreement for Dispute Resolution in Hong Kong, China. Minister Khair’s involvement highlights the commitment to fostering international cooperation in resolving disputes through mediation.

According to Sudan News Agency, Minister Khair emphasized that 32 countries, including his own, are the founding members of the organization that signed the agreement. The signing ceremony was a significant event attended by representatives from more than 50 countries and 20 international organizations. The event underscores the global interest in mediation as a preferred method for dispute resolution.

Minister Khair further noted that mediation is a mechanism that not only resolves disputes effectively but also aligns with the principles of fairness, justice, and shared interests. The agreement aims to enhance the role of mediation on an international scale, offering a flexible and cost-effective alternative to more traditional legal processes.
