Baghdad: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir, engaged in a meeting with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov. This meeting took place on the sidelines of Jabir’s participation in the 34th Ordinary Arab Summit hosted in Baghdad.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting was also attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil. Discussions centered on the progress of bilateral relations between Sudan and Russia, exploring avenues for further development and cooperation across various fields. The talks also covered issues of mutual interest and the evolving situation in Sudan.
The meeting emphasized the significance of unity, sovereignty, and the integrity of Sudan, alongside efforts to secure stability, security, and peace within the region. Additionally, the conversation ad
dressed the Sudanese government’s efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to those in need, highlighting a commitment to addressing the country’s pressing humanitarian challenges.
