Khartoum: Minister of Culture and Information, Khalid Ali Al-Aiser, has publicly commended the Ministry of Interior for its significant role in maintaining the integrity of the state and enhancing national values. Al-Aiser highlighted the ministry’s efforts in constructing a new state framework and delivering essential services to the public as a civil entity. He also condemned the actions of militias that targeted police headquarters, including the destruction of important documents.
According to Sudan News Agency, the minister’s remarks followed a meeting with Major General Police (Retired) Khalil Pasha Sayreen, the Minister of Interior, in his office on Tuesday. During their discussion, they explored potential collaboration between the Ministries of Interior and Information to showcase the police’s contribution to establishing the new state. Additionally, the meeting addressed issues concerning the Ministry of Information’s role in supporting police efforts related to state-building initiatives.
