Khartoum: The National Security and Defense Council convened on Wednesday, under the leadership of General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, who serves as the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. The meeting was attended by key figures, including members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, the Prime Minister, and representatives from several ministries and military services.
According to Sudan News Agency, the gathering included representatives from the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, Culture, and Information, as well as the National Security and Intelligence Service, the Military Intelligence Service, the Commander of the Red Sea Military Zone, and the Wali of the Red Sea State. Graham Abdel-Gadir, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information, stated that the meeting addressed the security developments within the country and discussed efforts to manage the emerging changes.
The Council was briefed on the overall security situation
in Sudan and reviewed the measures that have been implemented to ensure stability.
