General Yassir Al-Atta Announces Integration of Supporting Forces into Regular Institutions

Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Yassir Abdelrahman Al-Atta, declared that the forthcoming phase will see the integration of supporting forces into the country's regular institutions without exception. According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Atta addressed troops on duty, emphasizing that this integration will encompass the Armed Forces, the Police Forces, and the General Intelligence Service, adhering to the established requirements and standards for joining these institutions. He asserted that the process will include all supporting forces that participated alongside the army in the War of Dignity, such as the Joint Forces, Sudan Shield, Al-Baraa Battalions, the Revolutionary Battalions, and the Popular Resistance. Al-Atta indicated that the mechanisms for this integration will be activated shortly and will commence without delay, eliminating the need for any additional timelines. He also highlighted that the st ate and military hold the responsibility for those opting not to join the regular institutions. These individuals will receive vocational training and access to trades and professions, ensuring a dignified livelihood, aiding their reintegration into society, and enabling them to continue contributing to national reconstruction.
